Emerald Vale’s outing on Sat., Oct. 2 (shot gun at 9:30) is designed to help area food pantries and ministries that provide coats and footwear for area children.  Participants will pay $45 to play in a scramble- cost will include golf, lunch and $15 that will go to area food pantries.  Participants are asked to bring a canned good or a new or in excellent condition children’s coat, shoes or boots.  We are also seeking prizes for a raffle and cart sponsors ($25) and hole sponsors ($50).  Come join us and help our community!

We have entered the summer golf season.  The weather has been warm and golfers have been out enjoying the course.  If you have never played EV, you should find it to be one of Northern Michigan’s golfing treasures.  Every hole is different, there are rolling hills and elevation- a challenge, but lots of fun!  EV is also a good “on the way upnorth” course- break up your ride with a round of golf.

We have a great special on Tuesdays and Thursdays- $29 for 18 holes of golf (includes cart).

A clarification on our Senior Play Card- this card is a great deal, but please note that it can only be used by a golfer who is 60 or older and can only be used on weekdays. 

Emerald Vale has become a member of the Northern Michigan Golf Network!! If you are a part of our Membership (Stockholder or Associate), you can play at any of the 16 Northern Michigan courses for greatly reduced fees.  This should greatly enhance your membership and expand your summer golfing choices.  To access information about the courses, click on: www.chestnutvalleygolf.com/network/index.html.   If you have a membership with Emerald Vale, make sure that you have received your membership card as you will need it at our reciprocal courses.

• Sept. 12: Hospice Par 3 Challenge; 
• Sept. 25th: Glow Ball Outing; 
• Oct. 2nd: Because We Care Outing- Raise money for local charities; 
• Oct 9th: Fall Classic Outing; 

Many of our outings are open to the public and raise money for local causes.  Please contact Emerald Vale or watch for more information on this website if you are interested in joining us or would like to schedule an outing.  A great way to have fun playing golf and help others at the same time!  The outings usually start early in the morning and the course is generally open for tee times by 11:30.
